Homeschool Visual Arts Program | Ages 8+ Our Homeschool Visual Arts Program is designed for students ages 8+ and offers a fun, creative environment where students can explore a wide variety of artistic techniques and mediums. Throughout the program, students will experiment with as many different forms of art as possible, including painting, watercolour, acrylics, printmaking, drawing, mixed media, collage, sculpture, and 3D construction projects. Each project is designed to encourage creativity, exploration and personal expression, while techniques and expectations are adjusted to suit each child’s age and skill level. Lunch & Social Time This program is offered in conjunction with the Hamilton Film Festival homeschool program, with a half-hour lunch period built into the day. Lunch is a relaxed opportunity for students to socialize, get to know one another and enjoy some time together in the studio before continuing with their afternoon of art. Students do not need to be enrolled in the film program to join us for lunch. The lunch period is completely optional and all students are welcome to participate, whether or not they attend the Hamilton Film Festival program beforehand. Please send your child with a nut-free lunch if they will be joining us for the lunch period. Our goal is to create a welcoming studio environment where students can build confidence, try new things, experiment with different materials and, most importantly, have fun making art. Schedule: • 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Lunch (please bring your own lunch — nut-free only) • 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Guided art studio session

Cancellation Policy
I understand that if my child misses a scheduled class, no refund will be provided for that session. Ancaster Art Academy does not offer refunds or make-up classes, as materials and instructor time are reserved in advance. If class needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather there will not be a make-up scheduled. We understand that schedules can change. If a parent or guardian chooses to cancel a class before the course start date, a refund may be issued minus a $15 processing fee. Alternatively, families may choose to apply the full paid amount as a credit toward a future course or class. When selecting this option, no processing fee will be charged.
