At Ancaster Art Academy, we believe art is for everyone. Our studio offers engaging art classes in Ancaster for children, teens, and adults, focusing on creativity, technique, and personal expression. From painting and drawing to hands-on creative workshops, we provide a fun, encouraging space where students can develop their artistic skills and connect with a vibrant local art community.
Kirby Wilkins and Nicole Arnold are the founders of Ancaster Art Academy, a vibrant art school in Ancaster dedicated to building a strong visual arts community. With a shared passion for creativity, art education, and community connection, they have created a welcoming space where students of all ages and skill levels can explore art, develop their skills, and express themselves with confidence.
As experienced art educators, Kirby and Nicole bring extensive knowledge and enthusiasm to every class. Kirby studied Studio Arts at Concordia University and completed postgraduate work in art therapy, while Nicole holds a Master of Education in Art and a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts. Together, they offer high-quality instruction in drawing, painting, and mixed media, helping students build both technical skills and creative confidence.
Their teaching experience includes respected institutions such as the Dundas Valley School of Art, Dundas Valley Montessori School, and Lee Academy. Through their work at Ancaster Art Academy, they are committed to providing engaging art classes in Ancaster and the surrounding Hamilton area, inspiring the next generation of artists in a supportive and creative environment.
