Summer Camp
Offered weekly: Monday, June 15th 2026 - Friday, August 14th 2026
Our summer camps inspire creativity, build artistic skills, and let kids explore fun projects in a hands-on environment. Each week has a new theme with exciting projects led by experienced instructors.
Time: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Cost: $350 for the full week

Sample Daily Schedule:
9:30–10:00 AM - Arrival & welcome activities
10:00–12:00 PM - Morning art making session: Artist inspiration, demonstrations, and guided projects
12:00–1:00 PM - Lunch break
1:00–3:00 PM - Afternoon art making session: Creative exploration, mixed media, and studio time
3:00–3:30 PM - Clean-up, sharing, and wrap-up
*Campers are welcome to snack through the day when needed
We are conveniently located right in the heart of Ancaster, across from Tim Hortons at the Ancaster Memorial Arts Centre.
No previous art experience is required. All art materials are provided.
Limited spaces avaiable! Class sizes are kept small to ensure individual attention and a positive studio experience.
Weekly Themes & Details:
Week 1 | June 15–19 | Ages 8+/Grade 3+
Art Masters & Studio Skills: Explore drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media inspired by famous artists and styles while building strong studio habits and confidence.
Week 2 | June 22–26 | Ages 4–7/Kinder–Grade 2
Storybook Worlds: Create imaginative characters and settings through drawing, painting, collage, and simple bookmaking.
Week 3 | June 29–July 3 | Ages 8+/Grade 3+
Fantasy Characters & Creature Design: Invent fantastical creatures like hybrid animals, magical beings, and quirky fantasy characters using sketching, clay, and mixed media.
Week 4 | July 6–10 | Ages 4–7/Kinder–Grade 2
Ice Cream & Sweet Treats: Bright, playful art inspired by popsicles, sundaes, cupcakes, and candy using 2D and 3D materials.
Week 5 | July 13–17 | Ages 8+/Grade 3+
Art Around the World: Explore art from different cultures, patterns, and landscapes. Learn techniques from global art traditions while creating unique projects.
Week 6 | July 20–24 | Ages 4–7/Kinder–Grade 2
Nature Explorers: Create art inspired by plants, animals, bugs, and outdoor textures using natural and mixed materials.
Week 7 | July 27–31 | Ages 8+ | Grade 3+
Epic Builds: Cardboard & Creativity: A hands-on summer camp for kids 8+ to build giant cardboard creations, explore design and storytelling, and bring imaginative worlds to life with friends!
Week 8 | August 4–7 | Ages 4–7 / Kinder–Grade 2

Reptiles & Creepy-Cool Creatures: Explore reptiles through painting, clay, pattern, and texture with plenty of hands-on fun.
Week 9 | August 10–14 | Ages 11+ | Teen Camp
Creative Studio: Choice & Challenge Week
Students choose favourite mediums and themes, tackle skill-based challenges, and create a final showcase piece to take home.
